Community Initiatives are the focus behind UWAPU;
the overall plan of making a difference in people’s
lives. These are the steps taken that put the process
in motion – helping individuals, families, private
foundations and non-profit organizations through social
service agencies.
Organizations, associations and groups
may apply for financial support for projects/programs
that will positively and directly impact the lives
of citizens in our communities. Any organizations,
associations or groups that comply with Revenue Canada
regulations i.e. charitable registration number, Canadian
Municipality, are eligible to apply including, service
clubs, children, youth and senior’s groups.
