Leadership Giving
What is Leadership Giving:
The Leadership Giving Program promotes and recognizes
personal giving of $1,000 or more to the community
through United Way’s annual campaign.
United Way was able to raise $140,874
(8.45% of total campaign) through its Leadership Giving
program in 2006. Through these gifts United Way Accredited
Agencies are able to provide programs and services
that touch the lives of one in three people in our
community.
The reason for being a leader is, for many of our
leaders, very personal, each wishing to make a difference
in their own way. Collectively, they demonstrate that
those who are willing to take up the challenge of Leadership
are integral to ensuring our community is a good place
in which to live.
